We collect the information you provide when you create an account (name, email, password), data from any financial accounts you connect (read-only transaction and balance data via Plaid), and usage data such as which features you use and when.
Your data is used solely to provide and improve TeatherFree. We use it to display your budgets, generate insights, and send notifications you've opted into. We do not use your data to train AI models, run ads, or build advertising profiles.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data to any third party. Full stop.
We share data only with the service providers required to run TeatherFree β Plaid for bank connectivity, our hosting provider, and our transactional email service. Each is bound by strict data processing agreements.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Bank connections are read-only β TeatherFree can never move or modify your funds. We conduct regular security audits and maintain SOC 2 compliance.
You can export all your data, delete your account, or request we correct any inaccurate information at any time from your account settings. For GDPR or CCPA requests, email privacy@teatherfree.com.
We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
TeatherFree is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email and update the date above. Continued use of TeatherFree after changes constitutes acceptance.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old (or 13 with parental consent) to use TeatherFree.
Use TeatherFree only for lawful personal financial management. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the service, access other users' accounts, or use the platform to facilitate fraud.
TeatherFree provides budgeting tools and informational insights. We are not a financial advisor, bank, or investment service. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We're not liable for losses caused by downtime, sync delays, or data errors.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
